The Silicon Valley Sports Officials Association (SVSOA) is a California-based, non-profit organization of amateur sports officials from of all walks of life - educators, police officers, firefighters, lawyers, accountants, Federal and State employees, healthcare professionals, construction engineers, students, IT Professionals, and others, who are dedicated to providing the highest levels of professionalism and quality officiating to basketball programs throughout our service area.

 

With approximately 90 member officials, SVSOA provides officials for nearly 1,000 games per year. Our Scholastic Program officiates boys and girls basketball, baseball, wrestling and football at the Freshman through Varsity level at more than 20 public and private high schools in our service area. With the Partnership of Cardinal Rules, The Recreation Program referees numerous adult and youth leagues, throughout the year. SVSOA covers the majority of San Mateo County as well as parts of Santa Clara County.
